Such an amazing original song, coming from the heart of England. Nero makes this song clearly amazing with a sick beat and sick overall everything, this song has been in my iTunes for 1 week now and already has 78 plays.
This was just a bonus track that hit up about. Part of the track is Japanese and its pretty sick, we can work together, they don't always have to kill dolphins now, or chickens at that matter (SP) ha :). Sean Yee writes a little blog all about audio production if you guys want to check it out KeyofGrey.com.
Was listening to this song, and came along this picture on some random site, and BOOM the two somehow connect! Possibly how the girl kind of looks brazilian or european and the remixed version of this song has a bit of a drum n bass/electro feel to it makes sense. And yes, I do know what most guys are thinking as they see the picture "NIPPLES!".
Totally diggin this remix, it reminds me of a mashup in many ways. Probably because of the very familiar sounding beat used with the accapela. Anyways, great song by Kid Sister remixed with a little mashup feel to it. Chhhhheck ittt
Chromeo brings synth beats into my music world and definitely is in the top 3 favourites. Night by Night remixxed by Kolt 13, pretty cool dub feel to the song which I found interesting, yet amusing..ENJOYYY
Basically indie rap is what 2009 has been about. So basically different, inventive, and progressive rap. Kid Cudi, Wale, K'naan and more have pushed rap from bitches and hoes to deep and meaningful, electro, mainstream and overall amazing. Lots of collaborations and lots of good songs, probably the best song of 2009 Kid Cudi ft MGMT and Ratatat.
Chiddy Bang has made his name from The Cool Catz group to a solo career backed up by Xaphoon Jones crazy beats he is unstoppable.
Great song by Private and remixed, it's even better. Awesome vocals and just overall amazing song, makes you want to listen over and over again. Purely Magical!
This is one of those hypey songs that make me wanna jump on my board and go for a cruise. 009 Sound System is pretty sick stumbled upon them watching soccer highlights on youtube aha ;)
Haven't posted in a while, thought I would contribute to my blog. Great freestyle by Lupe Fiasco. "feeling like a Mac, standing around a bunch of PC's"
This song gets a 5 out of 5 from me. Everything about it from the rhythm section to the happy whistling perfectly suits the songs metaphoric theme of new beginning and rebellion against overall lameness and restrictions. All my friends are growing up and I’m not sure I like it. I mean it’s no wonder why I see more and more people dating younger ages, ya’ll are getting boring! I think you need a reminder of what it’s like to be youthful, energetic, charming and fun. I have two words for you old folks: Young Folks.
I don’t know how many times I’ve heard “Ghosts n Stuff” over the past couple weeks. It seems like every time I spark up iTunes, some version of this tune manages to shake its way into the playlist. Bloody genius knowing what I want :).
Hey look at me i figured out sound cloud all by myself :) So since im new i figured i would post my favorite song of all time kinda old school but its mah favo ;)
House de Racket are two French guys, who apparently claim to "play stadium music in very small rooms" and grew up in a Suburb of Paris. They bring the awesomeness, and that is proven by their appearances at major concerts with such bands as The Teenagers and Phoenix, as well as opening up for Sebastien Teller. In other words, they are definitely worth taking a listen to with satisfaction guaranteed..
A band that apparently everyone knew about before I did, being featured in commercials on t.v., etc. doesn't matter. What matters is... that this song is amazing, the chorus is very relaxing and in general the song is great to chill to. Enjoy.
Fire and Solar Midnite are the latest leaks from Lupe Fiaso. Look out for Lupe's highly anticipated 3rd and rumored to be his last album "Lasers".
"Solar Midnite is my first commercial release that I actually produced as well as wrote. The New Moon team asked me if I could do a song specifically for the film. They invited me to an early screening of the unfinished film from which I pulled different elements that I thought would translate into a great song. I pulled in vocalist and bassist Graham Burris and acclaimed musician Matt Nelson to help fill it out my vision musically and “joila” Solar Midnite was born. The song basically deals with the chaotic love story that takes place between the characters. It’s more on the rock side of my musical catalog and comes straight from my die hard fanhood of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Anthony Keidis, one of my FAVORITE RAPPERS." -Lupe Fiasco
Here we have Katchafire coming from New Zealand. They are a reggae based group and make some really cool beats, great for just relaxing on those days that you just feel so lazy and just want to sit around and do nothing but listen to some uber chill music. Sit back and relax...
On the topic, N.E.R.D. has officially added a new member to their trio, Rhea. Not only is her spot on N.E.R.D. solidified but rumor has it that she's landed a significant role on N.E.R.D.'s fourth album dropping in 2010, "Instant Gratification".
“Musically, we’re just somewhere else [with her],” Pharrell told MTV News. “The music is now very 3-D. It’s something you have to hear. But you’ll see. We’re definitely somewhere else. I want to leave that impact moment for when you purchase your download and you purchase your CD. The music is very three-dimensional. We’re just really excited. We feel like N.E.R.D. has always been the punks of hip-hop and the outcasts of alternative music— just a little different. But this time, we’re taking no prisoners.” -MTV News
